Mike is a founding member of the Chrysalix EVC team with over 15 years of experience in clean energy venture capital investing, marketing, finance and strategic business planning. His exit track record includes the successful sale of Epyon Power to the ABB Group, at the time the largest electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure deal to date. Mike currently leads Chrysalix EVC’s investments in GaN Systems, Brammo, Purfresh, ReliOn, and Lilliputian. He is an observer on the boards of General Fusion and MineSense.
Prior to joining Chrysalix EVC, Mike worked in strategic planning with Starbucks Coffee Company’s Corporate Business Alliances Group building joint venture businesses into new product categories, market verticals, and international geographies contributing to the company’s highest period of growth and profitability.
Leveraging his passion for building and exploration, Mike has also spent time working in Europe where he built and chartered a 25 metre classic Dutch sailing ship.
Mike has an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
